1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use TuneClip:

  • Account information: email address, authentication tokens
  • Uploaded content: audio files you upload for video generation
  • Generated content: videos and metadata created by our AI
  • Social media tokens: OAuth tokens for publishing to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (only when you explicitly connect your accounts)
  • Usage data: basic analytics about how you interact with the service

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

  • To generate videos from your uploaded audio
  • To publish your videos to connected social media platforms
  • To manage your subscription and billing
  • To improve our AI models and service quality

3. Social Media Data

When you connect your social media accounts (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), we receive an access token from the platform. We do not store your social media passwords. The access token is stored securely and is only used to publish videos on your behalf. You can disconnect your accounts at any time, which immediately revokes our access.

4. Google User Data

TuneClip uses Google APIs (including the YouTube Data API) solely to publish videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf when you explicitly request it. This section explains specifically how we handle data obtained through Google APIs:

  • Scope of access: We request only the minimum Google API scopes required to upload videos to your YouTube channel.
  • Use limitation: Google user data (including your YouTube access token and any account information obtained via Google OAuth) is used exclusively to perform the video upload action you initiate. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or any other secondary purpose.
  • Data sharing: We do not share, sell, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties, except to Google's own infrastructure as required to execute the API calls on your behalf.
  • No storage beyond necessity: Your Google OAuth token is stored encrypted in our database only for as long as you keep your YouTube account connected. Disconnecting your account immediately deletes the token from our systems.
  • No aggregation: We do not combine your Google user data with data from other users or sources.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase (PostgreSQL database) and Cloudflare R2 (object storage). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in our database.

6. Data Retention

We retain your videos and account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all your data from our systems. We may retain minimal billing records for legal compliance.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate TuneClip:

  • Supabase: database and authentication
  • Cloudflare R2: video and audio storage
  • Stripe: payment processing
  • Groq: AI transcription and metadata generation
  • YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok: video publishing (only when you connect your accounts)

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can do this through your account settings or by contacting us at admin@tune-clip.com.
